On the vegetarian – vegan Tapas Tour in Barcelona you will enjoy a tour of the cities History and Culture with culinary delights.
Within the Born neighbourhood we will visit Cafes & Restaurants, and places that stand for a sustainable and healthy lifestyle, such as an urban garden project. You will get to know various social and artistic projects that are community driven.
Vegetarian–Vegan Tapas Tour Route in Barcelona *
We will start the Tour in a Foundation for contemporary Art in the Born Neighbourhood, which also offers raw food and biodynamic wines in their Bistro.
Afterwards, we will go and see a community garden project L’Hortet del Forat, in the Santa Catarina neighbourhood. This area was abandoned for a long time and has now become a central meeting point for those living around the quarter.
Close by, we will visit a restaurant that doubles as a social project, where will enjoy some tasty slow food Tapas.
We finish our Tour with a dessert in the coffee shop of the Convent de Sant Agusti, a refurbished old monastery, that is now become a Centre for Music and new Technologies.
Wine/Tapas-Stop: 2 Tapas-Restaurants in the Born Neighbourhood, 4 Tapas, 3 Glasses of wine or non-alcoholic drink.
Dessert-Stop in a Café in the Born Neighbourhood, a sweet treat, coffee or tea.
